Enrico Malatesta – Meditazione senza oggetto

Meditazione senza oggetto is a project curated by Enrico Malatesta dedicated to the investigation of sound and listening modes in relation to the vitality of materials — in this case stones and mosaic tiles — and the superficial relationships between them, audio technology and the body in motion.
The project is structured in an intensive format and includes a theoretical seminar, a practical session and a performance/sound action created ad hoc by the author.
During the performance, the artist moves between implicit sounds, small audio devices, objects and recycled materials transformed into sound sources, highlighting the environment and found sounds through abstract percussion and minimal gestures.
