Ylenia Roma is a contemporary mosaic artist who transforms matter, colour and light into visual storytelling. Her works blend the millennial tradition of mosaics with an intimate and contemporary vision of art, giving life to creations that tell stories, emotions and reflections through small fragments of glass, stone and ceramics.
With a background rooted in classical techniques and an eye for experimentation, Ylenia reinterprets mosaic as a contemporary expressive language: abstract, symbolic, sometimes material, always deeply evocative.
Each work is a dialogue between gesture and silence, between fragmentation and harmony. Whether artistic panels or site-specific installations, her work invites the observer to discover beauty in imperfection and the hidden power in details.
