Takako Hirai – Artificial nature

The exhibition represents the first collaboration between the Carlo Zauli Museum and the Mosaic Biennial.
On this occasion, the presence of the artist, Takako Hirai, represents a perfect point of contact between the two institutions, as the Japanese artist, a mosaicist closely linked to the most current sculptural aesthetics, also recalls the strong connection that Carlo Zauli’s work has with Japan.
This connection is reinforced by the two artists’ preference for essential forms and colour solutions,
which will give rise to a harmonious dialogue within the historic workshops of the Carlo Zauli Museum.
