Stories of MAR-Mosaics of 1959

In the theatre events of the Storie di Ravenna, Ravenna Teatro and MAR – Ravenna Art Museum offer four Sunday appointments (22 October, 19 November, 10 December, 7 January), curated by Alessandro Argnani and Giovanni Gardini, centred on the exhibition of contemporary mosaics of 1959. A mosaic project strongly desired by Giuseppe Bovini and made possible thanks to the close dialogue between the most important artists of the 1950s and the mosaicists of the Ravenna ‘Bottega del Mosaico’, directed by Giuseppe Salietti. The story of the events that led to the realisation of the exhibition will be constantly interwoven with the voice of an actor and live music, together with images and readings.
