Ravenna meets Francis

Opening: 18 October at 11 a.m.
The exhibition Ravenna meets Francis aims to explore the deep connection between the concept of shared spaces and the life and teachings of St. Francis of Assisi. At a time when interfaith dialogue, sustainability and inclusivity are more necessary than ever, this exhibition aims to highlight how the Franciscan vision can be extremely relevant today. St. Francis of Assisi, an emblematic figure of Christian spirituality, dedicated his life to spreading universal brotherhood, love for nature and peace.
His famous expressions ‘brother Sun’ and ‘sister Moon’ reflect a deeply respectful attitude towards all creatures and creation itself. Francis teaches us that every living being has intrinsic value and a place in the great mosaic of life. The theme of shared spaces is central to our exhibition. These spaces, both physical and spiritual, are places where diversity can be celebrated. The community life of the Franciscans is an example of how shared spaces can function harmoniously, promoting cooperation and mutual suppor
