Orodè Deoro – Mon coeur mis à nu, et pas seulement

Solo exhibition of works by Orodé Deoro. The exhibition forms part of an ongoing exploration of mosaic aesthetics that Marte Associazione Culturale has been pursuing for several years now, and which has already seen the organisation of group and solo exhibitions in collaboration with private galleries and the city’s public cultural institutions, with a view to building a network of connections that links what is happening in Ravenna in relation to mosaics with developments outside Ravenna. The four exhibitions share a significant common thread in the portrait, explored in various ways and forms but in all cases through a convergence and shifting interplay between different techniques. Drawing, painting, fresco and photographic printing are all linked to the central theme of mosaic, in explorations that focus as much on the nature of artistic language as on the meaning of the portrait.
