Sul design of Anni Albers is a collection of texts that gives access to an enlightened thought that took shape over fifty years of activity (from her time at the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau to the 1980s in the United States), nourished by field experience and theoretical and philosophical readings.
Anni Albers returns to a number of themes that are particularly close to her heart: the superiority of an anonymous and timeless, functional and non-self-referential design, the importance of body to body with the material, the idea that external limits benefit the imagination, the value of audacity; the conviction that the act of creating is the most intense emotion one can know.
