Mitsuyasu Hataketa, Caterina Dondi, Tera Drop – Nello Spazio

This exhibition project stems from the will of the National Museum and Equidistanze Residenze Artistiche to support emerging art. This allows artists to deal with places that are often closed to young people and the art of our time; consequently, an essential dialogue between ancient and contemporary art is fostered through a vision of mutual strengthening. The three artists, chosen among the ten selected by Equidistanze 2022, were designated because their research already focused on the dialogue with a specific place and without running the risk of upsetting its characteristics. The site specific works of Mitsuyasu Hatakeda, Caterina Dondi and Pietro Vitali perfectly fit into the space and the reflection of the museum’s permanent collection invests them with a new expressive power.
