Loretta Merenda – Les Mignonnes

Play, transparency, color, bottles, repetition, and recovery of waste materials are all intrinsic components of this work, which frivolously recalls mosaics in the glass melting process, a preferred method of Loretta Merenda‘s artistic production. Les Mignonnes aims to evoke the childhood charm of “pretending to be…” in its display of imagined colored treasures showcased in a repository of vials filled with precious materials prepared for an amazing Workshop of Magical Mosaics.
