Dress Sculpture

Dress Sculpture – The Right and the Wrong Sides project starts from the idea of using a single material for the creation of a wearable sculpture. While considering the aesthetic and symbolic features of each garment, in this case, the focus is primarily on the material employed: color, transparency, elasticity, strength, specific weight, opacity, organic, or artificial origin. The making of the work of art does not favor merely the visible element, the right side, but it pays equal care to the wrong side, the hidden one. These works of art could be regarded as fluid architectures – extensions of the body that wears them.
