“Mosaic, light, sculpture: my creations play in the blurred boundary between art and design.
I reflect myself inside my right hemisphere. My creativity, sensitivity, emotions and femininity take shape in the tiles of light, which expand in the environment like stars in the universe.
I cut these tesserae by hand, one by one, and unite them within the work like the sounds of a mantra flowing between inside and outside. With my works I want to arouse emotions. The viewer must stop and gently lose himself in these reflections of light. I want to capture the beauty, the variety, the wonderful texture of the world and return it in reflection.
In the silence of my studio, thinking about my works, the words stuck in the mosaic in Cappella di Sant’Andrea echo in me, prophetic: AUT LUX HIC NATA EST, AUT CAPTA HIC LIBERA REGNAT.
Either light was born here or, captured, here it reigns free.”
