Daniele Strada – Pezzi di vetro

The title of the exhibition, ‘Pezzi di vetro’, is the same as that of a famous song by Francesco De Gregori, in which the protagonist is a sort of fakir who, like the mosaicist, triumphs over glass. The subjects are those that have always characterised Daniele Strada’s artistic vision: television and books, elements that are seemingly at odds with one another but which have both been important means of mass communication; today, in the face of new technologies, they are now considered outdated, yet they retain, for different reasons, their undiminished charm.
The exhibition will also feature a work created in collaboration with the master goldsmith Alberto Zorzi.
