Assonances and dissonances in mosaic is an exhibition dedicated to contemporary mosaic, curated by Sandro Malossini, with artworks by Giuliano Babini, Giovanna Galli, Paolo Racagni.
Formal rules escape executive control, leaving room for creative instinct. The technical wisdom of building by proximity of tile to tile is no longer the language of these artists who, in a totally autonomous manner, choose a distorted use of the material, be it glass paste or marble or something else, to give body and proximity to feelings rather than to a figuration tout court.
