Anemones

The project, curated by Irene Biolchini, involved three artists from three different generations: Renata Boero (1936), Alessandro Roma (1976), and Valentina D’Accardi (1985), who, through their creative approaches, reflect on the relationship between nature, decoration, and fragment. The title of the exhibition – Anemones – recalls the theme of vegetation, characteristic of the mosaics of Ravenna, and the floral theme, symbolizing transience and fragility. Depending on each specific case, the showcased works establish direct and indirect relationships with the mosaic tradition in its material, technical, and iconographic aspects.
