Academy of Fine Art of Ravenna – Micromosaic jewellery. Contemporary variations

On display in the building’s windows (on via Morigia side, freely accessible during the building’s opening hours) are prototypes created by students of the Jewellery Design courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna. The collections presented are the result of the design and technical work of a group of young artists, who have successfully combined manual prototyping with industrial serialisation. Through the careful placement of glass filaments, Anna Agati, Giovanni Amadori, Eleonora Ancarani, Shuyi Qui, Alice La Franca, Debora Dell’Aquila, Sara Cavina and Jingyi Zhang have created micro-mosaic jewellery with a strong aesthetic impact and a high degree of innovation.
