Opening of the New Sections of the Classis Museum: Living in Ravenna and Praying in Ravenna

Living in Ravenna and Praying in Ravenna are the two new sections of the Classis Museum, through which two crucial aspects of the history of the city and its territory are explored: ecclesiastical and residential building in late antiquity.
Thanks to the magnificence of the mosaics on display, the museum has been enriched with valuable scientific documentation on late antique mosaic art. This display has enabled the restoration and arrangement of the new works, allowing them to be returned to public use, which has always been the focus of RavennAntica’s mission.
