Nuova Superficie (Giovanni Lami – Enrico Malatesta) – Lacune

Magma presents Lacune: an installation by Nuova Superficie, curated by Alex Montanaro. The artist duo, composed of Giovanni Lami and Enrico Malatesta, produces an auditory and imaginative appearance that blends with the strong symbolic characteristics of the site. The chosen venue is one of the most important Italian archaeological sites discovered in recent decades, where sound is evoked by the presence of the splendid floor mosaic of the Dance of the Four Seasons. Presented to the public is an installation, multi-channel, sonorous intervention of the space, an immersive and enveloping sound mosaic composed of several audible tesserae.
