Works from around the world – The light of black and gold

Opere dal mondo (lit. Works from around the World) is the exhibition-competition of the Internazional Association of Contemporary Mosaicist (AIMC), which accompanies all editions of the Biennal of Contemporary Mosaic since 2009.
This eighth edition, curated by Rosetta Berardi and Maria Grazia Marini, and promoted by AIMC and the Culture and Tourism Departments, is entitled La luce del nero e dell’oro ( lit. The Light of Black and Gold) and pays homage to Alberto Burri and the great BurriRavennaOro exhibition.
31 works have been selected, created by artists from 17 nations, expressing the different trends and ways of interpreting mosaic in their respective countries of origin.
