Dusciana Bravura – Atelier opening

Opening of Dusciana Bravura‘s new atelier in the centre of Ravenna. Dusciana Bravura (Venice, 1969), graduated at the Ravenna Mosaic Art Institute, collaborates with her father Marco on fountains and public works. Her works have been exhibited in galleries and museums in Italy and abroad. The sculpture Unicorno is part of the Contemporary Mosaics Collection of the Mar – Ravenna Art Museum. In her new workshop, the artist presents, in addition to her mosaic works, her collection of textiles, accessories and clothing. In her work, Dusciana avoids the logic of globalised industry, maintaining a profound relationship with each artefact, as in a contemporary “Art & Crafts”.
