Lorenzo Scarpellini – Posthistorica

Lorenzo Scarpellini’s solo exhibition aims to explore the city of Ravenna, analysing and presenting it here through a scientific lens. The exhibition, organised in collaboration with the monoGAO21 gallery, seeks to move away from a conventional curatorial approach. monoGAO21 becomes an ‘audio-visual’ stage on which to re-present the world to the world, in a process of unveiling one of the many identities of reality. A musty environment, redolent of time past and time that flows slowly. An environment in which only the most adaptable animal species, the result of a mosaic-apocalyptic evolution, have survived, whilst human beings can only be mere visitors.
