WASHING MACHINE MOSAIC | Colour-saving sheets – building relationships
Doing the washing is a daily chore usually assigned to women: but this ‘normality’ can be subverted through a creative and collective act. Among the members and friends of the Casa delle Donne, we collected colour-saving sheets for a year and together recycled them to create a large mosaic of 1,680 tiles, one for every pixel of the image of a washing machine.
