Marco Bravura – Pallet

The sculpture Pallet, a tower formed from oversized pallets, culminates in a pallet entirely covered in gold mosaic. A ready-made piece conceived for the dock at Ravenna, near which stood the ancient port of Classe, which in Roman and Byzantine times made Ravenna a veritable gateway to the East. The ability to travel freely anywhere in the world is the defining feature of the pallet, which helped to inspire this sculpture.
