Luca Barberini – Tessere i sogni
The 7th Biennial of Contemporary mosaic of Ravenna meets the city of Riccione, which is celebrating its centenary, in the precious public space of Villa Franceschi, a small Art Nouveau gem that houses an important collection of modern and contemporary artworks. The evocative rooms on the ground floor of the villa host the exhibition Tessere i sogni (Weaving Dreams) by artist Luca Barberini: twelve mosaic works, most of which are unpublished, belonging to his most recent production dedicated to the theme of dreams. A large compositional landscape rich in dreamlike suggestions that fascinates and captivates. The great skill with which it is executed is combined with the ability to adhere to reality with that very personal vein of irony that brings his art into contact with the languages of current affairs journalism, cinema, graphics, comics and photography.
The exhibition project is promoted and organised by the Municipality of Ravenna – Department of Tourism and Department of Culture in collaboration with the Municipality of Riccione – Department of Culture.
