Curated by Daniele Strada. Those who resist the temptation to touch a mosaic while looking at it are only enjoying it halfway: what appears to be a surface characterized by tesserae, interstices, and patterns, when
touched by the hand, gives rise to unexpected and surprising emotional experiences.
The senses take precedence over rationality, and the fingertips of the hand become lost in the infinite plots, transforming a simple texture into a labyrinth in which it is pleasant to lose oneself, like a dream from which one can awaken at any moment.
Thus, the Musivari had fun creating and then proposing various sensory itineraries in which the purely visual aspect is only one part of the work, while the other is linked to the active participation of the viewer, who must touch the surfaces with their eyes closed, thus giving rise to an emotional fusion that amplifies the pleasure of perception (Daniele Strada).
